Come join the fun at the Manchester, TN 4th of July celebration. 7:00 a.m. 5K/10K race starts. Parade is at 11:00 a.m. and also there will be a skate board competition with trophies and T-shirts. Angela Martinez and Lucas Barela will be performing an acoustic set from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by Charlie Allen and his band. Also performing will be the "hair guy", Kenneth Darrell. Fireworks will be at 9:00 p.m. in front of the Recreation Complex.

On Wednesday, June 17th, at 8:00 p.m. Angela joins Tammy Gunn and Gina West at Dougie Ray's writer's night, hosted by Jack Scott in Goodlettsville, TN. Thanks to Lucas Barela for backing all the ladies on acoustic guitar.

On Sunday, 6/7/09, Billy Block interviewed Angela about the Scleraderma Walk-A-Thon being held at the Cenntenial Park on June 14th. The Billy Block show is broadcast live from Tootsies on 103 FM WKDF.

Angela wants to encourage everyone to come support the Seventh Annual National Scleroderma 5K Walk-A-Thon (3.1 miles). It will be Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Starting Line: The large picnic shelter near the train in Centennial Park, Nashville. Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease which literally means "hard skin", and not only attacks the skin but also the vascular system and internal organs. Angela has a dear friend who has Scleroderma and through her introductions Angela has met more people with this disease. Angela was greatly touched by their stories and immediately wrote a song for them. Angela is hoping to raise awareness of their need for support for finding a cure. Her new song is called "Right There" and you can also hear it and learn more about Scleroderma by clicking on Angela's "Myspace" page on this web site. Angela will be performing at the Walk-a-Thon and will have "Music Down Load" cards available, featuring her new single. All donations will go to benefit the Scleroderma Foundation.

On Wednesday, May 13th, doors open at 7:00 p.m. Angela will be singing an acoustic set and will debut her new single "Right There" at the Chris Webb show. Chris is a country music singer from Texas. Angela was in his video featuring his single, "Meet Me Under The Shade Tree" which can be viewed on the CMT web site or Chris's web site at myspace.com/chriswebbcountry The Rutledge is a smoke free club located at 410 4th Ave. S. Nashville, TN. No cover charge.

Music (singing, performing and writing songs) is Angela's passion, however, she has made time in her busy schedule to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from MTSU. She values an education and hopes to be a role model, especially for young Latina women.

Angela sings the National Anthem, 4/16/09, for the MMA fight at the Silverado-Rivergate in Goodlettsville, TN. Event starts at 8:00 p.m.

On November 20, 2008, Angela will be singing the National Anthem for the Nashville Broncs - (ABA professional basketball team).
